SBI PO Exam Date

Eligibility of the candidates is pre-requisite for filling out the form. You must fall between the eligibility criteria as given below.
To fill SBI PO in 2016, candidates must have completed their Graduation from any recognized university. Participants are required to have final year mark sheet and roll number when they submit IBPS PO in 2016.
The age limit for SBI PO 2016 is 21 to 30 years. So the candidates must have their age more than 21 but less than or equal to 30 years on and after 01/04/2016.
There is a phenomenon of giving age relaxation for the weaker section of the society. This norms are articulated by Government of India and is mandatory to be followed by all sectors falling under these rules.
Number of attempts allowed for SBI PO
This is the number of times you can sit in the SBI PO exams, in your lifetime.

Exam Pattern for SBI PO preliminary
This is famously called the Tier-1 exam. The exam pattern for SBI PO prelims comprises of three sections of total 100 marks which are meant to be completed in 1 hour.

Exam Pattern for SBI PO mains
Mains or Tier-2 exams are announced by SBI within one month. The candidates who have qualified SBI pre-exam (Tier-1) are called for mains exam.
Main Exam will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks.
Both the Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive test by typing on the computer with the help of the keyboard, immediately after completion of Objective Test.
The pattern for the main exam is as follows,
Time allotted for this section is 2 hours without descriptive section.
The Descriptive Test will be of 1-hour duration of 50 marks. It will be a Test of English Language where your writing ability and understanding of English language will be judged.
The objective of this section is to check your,
- English Language.
- Your comprehensive ability.
- Vocabulary & understanding of word groups.
- Your speed with the Language (i.e. how familiar you are with the English language).
