Eligibility Criteria for SBI Clerk 2016
(i) For Junior Associates: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
(ii) For Junior Agricultural Associates : Graduation in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities from a Government recognized university/Institute.

Those who are in the final Semester/ year of Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview/joining, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation Examination on or before 30.06.2016.
Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 30.06.2016.
The age limit for SBI PO 2016 is 20 to 28 years. So the candidates must have their age more than 20 but less than or equal to 28 years old.
Application Fees for SBI Clerk 2016
- Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD/XS candidates.
- Rs. 600 /- for General / OBC (including intimation charges)
Emoluments / Salary of SBI Clerk joining in 2016
Pay Scale 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300 (under review). Salary will be Approx. Rs. 17500 in Metro Cities.

Number of attempts allowed for SBI Clerk in 2016
This is the number of times you can sit in the SBI Clerk exams, in your lifetime. There is no restriction on number of attempts for Clerical cadre. You can give the exam till you fulfill the age criteria according to your category.
Exam Pattern for SBI Clerk in 2016
There will be three stages of selection.
Important points to be noted are,
- Questions will be objective type/multiple choices in nature.
- For each question, 4-5 options would be given, out of which one would be correct.
- All the questions would be in Hindi and English except the English section.
- For each wrong answer, ¼ marks will be deducted.
- For each correct answer, 1 mark will be given.
Exam Pattern for SBI Clerk preliminary:
This is famously called the Tier-1 exam. The exam pattern for SBI Clerk prelims comprises of three sections of total 100 marks which is meant to be completed in 1 hour.
The marks are divided with each section as,
Time Duration: 1 hour.

Exam Pattern for SBI Clerk mains:
Mains or Tier-2 exams are announced by SBI within one month. The candidates who have qualified SBI pre exam (Tier-1) are called for mains exam.
Main Exam will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive test by typing on the computer with the help of the keyboard, immediately after completion of Objective Test.
The pattern for the main exams are as follows,
Time Duration: 2 hours in single sitting.
