Day by day the exams are becoming tough. Students are confused on how to get a government job.
Crowd in the exams increases every time, the vacancy is announced. And every time when you are not selected, the competition level rises.
2016 is no exception with the rise in the competition level. With the changing patterns of the exams every year, dedicated aspirants have become habitual now.
They are prepared for any such challenges coming in their way of taking selection in these exams. You can also learn this method of cracking the exams.
“There is no secret. Selection is made with smart ways of preparation”.
How to prepare smart to get the government job?
I will not say this is simple. But with dedicated preparation and following the smart schedule, you can crack your favorite exam this year. Now, this looks simple?
Let’s make it much easier.
There are five finger rules. These rules are easy to follow and you can make ‘your selection possible’ if you follow the guide I am about to give you.
First Rule: Dedication for Selection
Take out your index finger (the first finger). This finger is used to give direction to anyone. This denotes your goal.
Suppose you want to crack SBI PO. SBI PO is your priority and everything else you do in your personal life is a waste. Do not compromise this goal with anything else. No celebration, no party, no function before the exam.
“Everyone and everything which is distracting you from your goal is your enemy”.
Second Rule: Focus on Goal
Take out your middle finger. This denotes your best friend. Do you know who is your best friend who can help you crack your favorite exam?
It is the Time Table.
Make a timetable where you dedicate 2 hours daily for maths (or aptitude for some exams) and 2 hours daily for reading the newspaper.
After this four hours, fix 2 hours for Reasoning and English alternate, i.e your timetable should look like this.
Do not include Sunday in this time table. Make a separate time table for Sunday. This is the third finger rule.
Third Rule: Revision
Take out your ring finger. This indicates your life partner or your better half.
Your better half is as important as you are. For exam preparation and to get the government job, the better half is revision.
Revision is as important as practice. If you do not revise what you have learned, you are wasting your time in practice. Because you will forget everything. Put Sunday for revision and do not read anything new (except current affairs) on Sunday.
So your Sunday timetable looks like,
Adjust time according to your comfort. But dedicate six hours daily to achieve your goal. This timetable is followed by every person who has scored well in exams and remember,
“No one studies seriously for more than six hours”.
And the people who are not serious for their timetable, they are not selected in any exam. They may get selection in Part-1 but fail in Part-2 or interview.
Fourth Rule: Make Promise for a Government Job
Put out your little finger. In the Indian context, this finger is shown when we used to break our friendship with our friends, during our childhood.
Ever thought where this indication came from?
Our little finger is used to show the promise. You should make a promise to you every day that at any cost you will get selection by this year, 2016.
How will this help in getting a government job?
This will inject positivity and determination in you. Everyday this promise will boost self-belief in you. If possible, write this sentence everyday after waking up in the morning and before going to sleep
“I will crack ….. exam this year for sure”.
Fill the exam name (say for example SSC CGL) you want to crack this year. This is a psychologically proven method to achieve your goal.
Fifth Rule: Practice for Exam
This is your thumb rule. Everyone can solve the questions asked in exams if there is no restriction of time. That means, a question asked in an exam is not difficult but the time allotted to solve that question is crucial.
“Everyone knows how to solve a question but people who know how to manage time are selected”.
Exams are the game of time management. And this is your thumb rule. Learn how to manage time during exams. Know what is your weak point in the syllabus and know what is your strength.
Use your strong topic to save time. This comes by practicing your strength everyday. Sachin Tendulkar practices his strongest shot daily so that if he gets a chance to play that shot in the real match, a six is sure to come.
Neglect the topics you feel you cannot learn. Learning these topics will waste your time and it cannot help you in getting marks. But practice the topics you can learn with the guidance of a teacher. This practice will help you to score well.
Now you know how the genius people plan their studies.
- They do not care about the friends or family members who distract them from their goal. Their aim is set to achieve. They are keen to get a govt job this year.
- Their best friend is a timetable and no one else. They meet their time table requirement daily.
- They revise everything they had learned and practiced, during the whole week.
- They make a promise to them that they will get selection this year. They are filled with positivity during their preparation.
- Their thumb rule is to learn time management before facing the real exam. They practice time management during the last month of preparation. They learn time management by solving the sample papers and keep practicing these papers.
This has been the biggest problem of the people who are preparing for the competitive exams. They are curious about the strategy followed by successful people.
I have consulted with many successful people before writing this post for you. Try to follow this method by your heart and let me know if you are facing any problem.
